Moms Out Running Everywhere- This blog is for moms to discuss the everyday challenges and rewards of running and being a mom. It is also a reminder to us that there is MORE to us than being moms. We come together with different backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, but we share a common goal, to somehow fit running into our busy lives.

WE DID IT!
Just wanted to let all of our followers know that we all did great and as an added bonus came in under 5 hours (our goal). More details to follow. Thanks for all the wonderful support and the well wishes!
So glad that is over, and so proud of myself and my friends for getting through some tough training. Things have on and off not looked to promising during these past 6 months, knee issues, bouts of flu, and just yesterday a nasty cold for Marathon Mom. Today, all the issues just seemed to fall away (some new ones cropped up) but all in all nothing that could keep us from achieving our goal, and that we did! I will post about the details of our race from my perspective tomorrow, hopefully and include pictures from OUR official photographer. BTW my #3 son ran 3:30 AWESOME!!!
He PR'd by 45 min. and before you credit youth, I want you to know that I pr'd by 40 min. myself and I am 14 yrs. older. It goes to show you what some good training and a plan can do! Oh yeah, and the help of your friends!
That is so awesome, I am so proud of all of you! Can't wait to hear more and see some of the "official" photos. Congrats to my b-i-l too, that is just insane!

Yes, your son looked very happy with his result. It is amazing that he PR'd by 30 minutes. Ah youth!
